I have a samsung rant. I just downloaded some music from my computer onto my phone using the Mass Storage stuff, but how do I make it a ringtone (for texts)? Some people said to text the file to yourself, but does that cost extra (I only have regular texting, no internet). Thanks in advance.

I just got it and I’m trying to set my mp3s on it as one ringtone. But it only gives me the options to set it as an individual ringtone, as an alarm, or as a calendar alarm. But not just as one general ringtone. I tried moving them from the card to the phone, and still nothing. Please help, I’m so frustrated

I have a samsung impression and i was wondering how can i set it to where my ringtone will play when i get a text message? I already have it set to if anybody calls my phone my ringtone will go off but idk how to set that for text messages.

its not a ringtone its a dailing tone that callers hear not me. it was sent by a third party so ineed a text number to stop it. they did send me one a while ago i deleted it thou. and ive contacted tmobile they cant help me

I went onto mobile Tesco internet and downloaded the ringtone and it made us wait an hour to send a text message confirming payment, and it sent a link in the text. I gone to that link and when it asked me to download, i clicked #yes. And it said it had downloaded. But I can’t find it anywhere on my phone?

I have songs on Itunes that i bought that i want to have as ringtones, and i have bluetooth for my phone, but how to I cut down the song to make it into a ringtone? and how to i use bluetooth to send it to my phone?
but i have at&t, a razor
also, if i do use ventones, how to i get mp3 songs? from where? since ur not allowed to use itunes..

I am getting a new phone from Sprint, but I am trying to find a phone that lets you load your own music as ringtones. I heard the Palm Centro can, but don’t know. Please tell me all that do. I don’t want to make my own ringtone online either because I don’t have free internet on my plan. Thanks!
Will it send it to my phone or go I need to connect my phone to the computer?

I do the whole process of converting a portion of one of my songs in iTunes to an "AAC" changing the file type to m4r and all that crap but If i do a couple of ringtones it only shows one, the one that I have set….Weird?

How, if you can, can you make a file already on my samsung sway (u650) in the My Music part of my phone into a ringtone? I need the file to go from the My Music part of my phone to the My Ringtones part. Thank you for the help. =]

I have bluetooth on my cell phone, and my pc. I have a LG UX260. When I purchased the phone they told me I would be able to do this but I have not figured it out. I connected the cell to the pc, but when I try to transfer, it sais failed. Can someone please help me?
If I buy a memory card, can I use the songs as a ringtone?
