I currently use a samsung eternity phone with umlimited data and messaging. My friend gave me a iphone 3g because the screen was cracked. I plug the phone up to my itunes and it told me the phone was activated. It let me make calls but I cant send texts or connect to the internet. What do I need to do?

if you have an old t-mobile plan, can you change it to the new more plus or even more plus plan cause a family member of mine said that you have to be new to t-mobile to get the even more plus plan other wise you can only get old plans

ok so tomorrow im planning on going to the apple store to get an iphone 3G, except im still with t-mobile and i just signed my contract with t-mobile 4 months ago. I have a non-smartphone on t-mobile and I want a mytouch 3G unlocked off of ebay and I was wondering if I just put my sim card that I have now in it, will it work? I know I won’t have 3G because that’s the point because my dad doesn’t want to pay the extra 30 dollars a month.

When I purchase my iphone 3gs i will unlock it and go to tmobile. I heard that the iphone only works with tmobiles edge, what is the reason and when will the iphone work with the 3g. Also, will gps and maps work?
