How can I break my contract with Verizon?
I have a 2 yr. Contract with Verizon. (Originally signed with alltell, and then they merged like the next day) I have approx. 1 year left, and I have a family share plan with 2 other lines under mine. How can I break my contract? I don’t want to screw up my credit, as I currently have a 700 score, which is pretty nice for a 25yr old!

You will have to pay the Early Termination Fee for each line you close. It’s either $175 or $200 less $5 for each completed month of your contract – for each line.
Verizon only reports negative information to the credit bureaus. As long as you pay the ETF, nothing will be reported.
You will have to pay a "Termination Fee". Its about $200. It will not effect your credit score.
Tell them to eff off, and stop paying them. That should work. Then when they ask you why you stopped paying, make up some bogus story about how their service sucked, and you were dissapointed, and you’re going to tell everyone to stop using them because they suck.
