I have a sprint 7100 blackberry and I am going to purchase a new one. Can i buy a palm and use my sim card?

Author: I am going to purchase a cell phone that is compatable with sprint. I need to know if I purchase a newer palm or blackberry, can I use my sim card in another cell phone with windows os or do I have to stick with a blackberry?

Sprint have two types of phones, CDMA and iDEN,
All palms from sprint (or palms compatible with Sprint) are CDMA and don’t support sim cards, the sim cards are used with most of iDEN (or nextel) phones.
you can use the sim card with the Blackberry Curve 8350i, which sounds good.
Other way is to migrate to CDMA to use a Palm but you will lose the Direct Connect Service.
