Can I make my old sprint phone a prepaid through boost mobile?

I have a sprint phone that was disconnected. I think verizon and sprint merged and you can turn on a verizon phone with the boost mobile starter kit. Can I do the same with a sprint phone?

I don’t know where you got your information from. Sprint and Verizon did not merge! Boost is a prepaid service offered by Sprint/Nextel that uses the Nextel type phones. If you have a phone that was disconnected due to lack of payment you will never be able to turn it on until you pay the balance. Your best bet if you want a prepaid is to look at one of the prepaid options that are available in your area.

Sprint phones will only work on sprint network. You can’t use it for boost and you can’t use boost for sprint. Sprint’s strict and lame like that.
