How do you use a Verizon phone to use a different service such as Cingular?

Author: I know that Verizon doesn’t use SIM cards. I was wondering if a verizon phone can be cracked to be able to use another service.
The model is motorola, there is a slot for a SIM card but it would not fit any of mine

First off, because that Verizon Wireless phone is a CDMA phone, you’re limited to CDMA carriers (Sprint being the only other national CDMA carrier).
So, when you sign up for Sprint service, you’d have to ask them to accept that piece of non-Sprint equipment on their system.
Try to take that CDMA phone to a GSM carrier like AT&T and T-Mobile, and they’ll ROTFLTAO first, and then tell you they can’t do it.
I didn’t think you could do that- if you can , I need to do that. I hate verizon!
